Andhra Pradesh Minister and YCP leader Anil Kumar Yadav has criticized Pawan Kalyan and Natural Star Nani a day after the latter said that reducing cinema ticket prices is insulting to the audience.
“Why are these people complaining about the low prices? They are afraid that their remuneration will go down. If they are taking Rs 50 Cr per movie, they might have to halve the remuneration in the new scenario. That’s their only worry,” Yadav said.
He later hit out at Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. “What is the budget of ‘Vakeel Saab’ and ‘Bheemla Nayak’? What percentage of the budget went into the pocket of the hero? These days, 80% of the remuneration is paid to the actors. Only 20% is spent on other costs. Pawan Kalyan has been capitalizing on his craze,” Yadav lamented.
Yadav added, “I urge the youths not to spend thousands of rupees on watching movies. It’s your parents’ hard-earned money. You are only enriching the stars.”
