AP elections: Women voters puzzle betting bazaar

The betting bazaar is abuzz with talk of which candidates will win and which party will emerge victorious on May 23.  The elections to the Andhra Pradesh Assembly were held on April 11 and since then there has been a lot of activity in the betting department.

Punters are reportedly puzzled by two factors: the enthusiastic voting, and the turn out of women in higher numbers than males.  Many of these voters are silent, not disclosing which party they voted for.  There can be a huge upset in a tripolar contest (TDP, YCP, Jana Sena) in this situation if the silent woman voter is taken for granted.  

Despite the difficulties, punters are confidently going about making their predictions in several constituencies.  

As per reports, punters from Telangana and those living abroad, too, are enthusiastic about the AP elections.
