It is known that Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty are working together in a film directed by Mahesh P of Ra Ra…Krishnayya fame. According to a source, the film is a quirky love story, which presents both Anushka and Naveen as lovebirds, who are in a romantic relationship.

The film charts the story of a young man who falls in love with a woman double his age. Whether she reciprocates his love or not forms the crux of this yet-to-be-titled film. Produced by UV Creations, the film has completed the pre-production and will go on floors soon.

Grapevine is that Anushka Shetty is undergoing an extreme physical transformation and will be seen in a new avatar. She has been hitting the gym regularly and went all-out to lose 20 kilos to get a certain look for her role in the film.

The film marks Anushka's third collaboration with UV Creations after Mirchi and Bhaagamathie. Anushka was last seen in director Hemant Madhukar's Nishbadham. The thriller also starring Madhavan was premiered on Amazon Prime last year but failed to strike a chord with the audience.

Naveen Polishetty, on the other hand, is basking in the success of Jathi Ratnalu. The comedy entertainer has not only become one of the highest-grossing films of Telugu cinema this year but also turned out to be a path-breaking hit in his career.
