Anupama Parameswaran’s ‘Paradha’ Gets Release Date

Anupama Parameswaran is set to headline her first female-centric Telugu film Paradha, marking a new milestone in her decade-long career in Tollywood. Known for her hit roles in blockbusters like ‘Tillu Square’ and ‘Karthikeya 2’, the actress is now embracing a powerful, content-driven narrative in ‘Paradha’.

Directed by Praveen Kandregula, the film is said to carry a strong social theme and showcases Anupama in a bold and emotionally intense role — a departure from her recent ultra-glam appearances. Production on the film was completed some time ago, and although a summer 2025 release was initially planned, the film’s launch was delayed due to reported business-related hurdles.

Putting all speculation to rest, the makers have now officially locked in August 22nd as the release date.

To mark the announcement, Anupama visited the revered Balkampet Yellamma Temple in Hyderabad today to seek divine blessings for the film’s success. The devotional moment also coincided with the release of the film’s second single, Yatra Naryasthu, which further amplifies the female empowerment message the film carries.
