Kamal Haasan has added another star to his upcoming action-packed film, “Thug Life”! Gautham Karthik joins the cast, adding to an already stellar lineup featuring Jayam Ravi, Dulquer Salmaan, and Trisha in key roles. The shooting is set to kick off by the middle of next year.
Celebrating his birthday, Kamal Haasan made a thrilling announcement about his collaboration with Mani Ratnam for “Thug Life.” Their reunion after 36 years, following their iconic 1987 movie “Nayakan,” has sent ripples of excitement across the audience. The title announcement video for “Thug Life” stormed the internet, heightening anticipation.
This action-packed venture will be jointly produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and Madras Talkies. Alongside the stellar cast, the movie will bring together the talents of cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran, editor Sreekar Prasad, and music maestro AR Rahman.
Apart from “Thug Life,” Kamal Haasan is all set to star in “Indian 2,” the sequel to Shankar’s blockbuster vigilante action film from 1996. Scheduled for release on April 12, 2024, the sequel stars Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, and Rakul Preet Singh alongside Kamal Haasan, reprising his iconic role as Senapathy.
Furthermore, he’s also lined up for Nag Ashwin’s grand science fiction movie, “Kalki 2898 AD.” Sharing the screen with Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan, the film is set to hit theaters on January 12, 2024. Kamal Haasan’s packed schedule promises an exciting cinematic journey ahead.
