Young talented music director Anirudh has scored his first success in Telugu film industry, and he has expressed his happiness, comparing his success with Superstar Rajnikanth's Petta dialogue. Anirudh had debuted in Tollywood last year with Pawan Kalyan starrer Agnyaathavaasi.

The movie ended a disaster, following which he was removed from another Telugu movie Aravinda Sametha by the same director. However, he was later signed for the sports drama Jersey starring Nani and Shraddha Srinath, and after the success of the album, now the movie has been released and is winning commercially as well as great reviews as well.

With overwhelming response from all corners, Anirudh has expressed his first success in Tollywood with a tweet that after reading all opinions and reviews about Jersey from his studio, the first reaction of the people in the studio was this and posted a video of Petta Rajnikanth saying "Naan veezhvenendru Ninaithayo", and thanked producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, hero Nani and director Gautam Tinnanuri.
