Anirudh Ravichander started his career as a music composer with Dhanush's 2012 film '3', directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth. He became a nationwide sensation following the monster hit song 'Why this Kolaveri di'. He then emerged as the Rockstar of Tamil cinema by delivering chartbuster albums with every top actor in the film industry.

Anirudh has performed in live concerts for his fans across the world except in India. Recently, the renowned musician announced his first-ever concert tour in India marking his 10th year in the cinema industry. Anirudh has decided to celebrate the special occasion with his Tamil fans by organizing concerts at Coimbatore and Chennai.

The rockstar has teamed up with the leading OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar for his maiden concert tour in India. Anirudh and Disney Hotstar have officially announced ‘Rockstar on Hotstar – Once upon a time concert’ - as a celebration of his 10th year in the cinema industry. The events are planned at Chennai and Coimbatore during the months of September-October 2022.

The Coimbatore event is planned as a Live-in concert but the Chennai show will be a first-of-its-kind experience with the entire concert live streamed on Disney Plus Hotstar as well. Music lovers and hardcore fans of Rockstar Anirudh from other cities will have the opportunity to experience and join the concert live from their devices with top-notch visual and sound clarity.
