Andhra Pradesh Coalition Government: 100 Days of Progress and a Vision for the Future

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu convened a review meeting to celebrate the 100-day mark of the NDA alliance government in the state. He outlined the progress made and highlighted the ambitious vision for Andhra Pradesh’s future.

“This is a Good Government” – Naidu declared, emphasizing the coalition’s commitment to delivering development and welfare to the people. He urged representatives of the TDP, Janasena, and BJP to go door-to-door from the 20th to 26th of the month, highlighting the government’s achievements and explaining its future plans.

Addressing the YCP’s Legacy:

Naidu criticized the previous YCP government’s five years of misrule, citing irregularities, diversion of funds, and a lack of accountability. He highlighted the difficult circumstances the coalition government inherited, including unpaid salaries and a state in dire need of financial recovery.

A Collaborative Approach: Despite the three parties’ distinct ideologies, Naidu stressed that they are united by their commitment to Andhra Pradesh’s development. He expressed his hope for a lasting alliance, ensuring stability and progress for the state.

Key Achievements in 100 Days:

Jal Jeevan Mission: Safe drinking water through taps to every house is a priority, leveraging central funds and reviving the scheme hampered by the previous government.

Gram Sabhas: Approval of Rs. 4,500 crore worth of works by Gram Sabhas is a testament to the coalition’s commitment to grassroots democracy and development.

Green Energy: Andhra Pradesh aims to achieve 72 gigawatts of solar power generation, attracting Rs. 10 lakh crore in investment and creating 7.5 lakh jobs.

Infrastructure: The coalition is pushing for fast-tracked national highway construction, a new railway zone in Visakhapatnam, and enhanced connectivity in villages.

Financial Stability: The government is addressing pending bills, ensuring timely salary payments to employees and pensioners, and restoring financial stability after the YCP’s tenure.

Welfare Programs: The coalition has increased pensions, launched a skill development initiative, and is committed to providing housing for all.
