Popular TV anchor and social media personality Anasuya Bharadwaj had an unpleasant experience during a shopping mall inauguration event in Markapur, where a section of the gathered crowd misbehaved while she was addressing them.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Anasuya can be seen firmly confronting the hecklers. Expressing her anger, she said, “Do you comment on your mother or sister? Didn’t your parents teach you to respect your elders?” She even warned the group that she wouldn’t hesitate to hit them with a slipper if they continued their behavior.
Anasuya has long been vocal against cyberbullying and online abuse. In the past, she even lodged a criminal complaint against a netizen who made lewd comments on her pictures, taking a strong stand against harassment.
This incident has sparked discussions online, with many supporting Anasuya for standing up to public misbehavior, while also highlighting the need for better crowd management at such events.
