Ever since 'Prema Katha Chitram' hit the screens in 2014, there has been no looking back for horror-comedies. Unfortunately though, only a couple of films have made the cut, while the rest made do with jaded parodies and unrealistic scenes in the name of presenting a horror-weds-comedy movie.

Mahi V Raghav's 'Anando Brahma' seems to be one of those few horror-comedies that has its heart in the right place. The motion poster of the same was released the other day and the impression it has made is as though it's a trailer that is out.

Featuring Taapsee Pannu as a protagonist, it has the likes of Srinivas Reddy and Vennela Kishore in important roles. The list of comedy artistes is likeable. From Shakalaka Shankar to Posani, from Prabhas Sreenu to Tagubothu Ramesh...

When the caption says that fear is scared of laughter (read 'Bhayaniki navvante bhayam'), it makes one wonder if the film is going to drive home a useful message.

Music-directed by K, the technically fine film has cinematography by Anish Tharun Kumar.
