In a rare instance, a film made by Tollywood has been featured in the famous Amul cartoon universe. On Sunday, Amul came out with a cartoon dedicated to the craze that ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ has generated. A blockbuster that is pegged to have crossed a gross of Rs 310 Cr, the film has netted more than Rs 85 Cr in Hindi.
‘PushPack the Slice’ is what the cartoon says, offering a wordplay on the title of the movie. We see a cartoon-style depiction of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna. ‘Have some Amullu, Arjun’ is written. The word ‘Amul’ here is a mixture of ‘Amul’ and ‘Mallu’. The Icon Star is known as Mallu Arjun in Kerala.
Directed by Sukumar, ‘Pushpa’ hit the screens no December 17, 2021. It featured also Sunil, Ajay Ghosh, Anasuya Bharadwaj and others. Fahadh Faasil’s performance in the climax has been recognized by the Hindi audience as well, especially after the movie started streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
