‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ Teaser: Sharp guy takes revenge

The teaser for ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ gives away something about the hero’s character. Ravi Teja is Srinu Vaitla’s smart and sharp-witted hero is out to take revenge in the US and that much is clear.   

While the premise is familiar, the hero’s character, complete with its shades and smarts, should make all the difference.  He is seen for the most part wearing glasses, fashionable ones at that.  The wearer of flamboyant dresses can appear in a religious outfit as well.  Is he a master of disguises, too?

Ileana D’Cruz gives him emotional succour.  

Venkat C Dileep’s visuals are good and the director has also got an able art director in AS Prakash.  

Also starring Laya, Sunil, Vennela Kishore, Raghu Babu, Tarun Arora, and Abhimanyu Singh, its music is by SS Thaman.  Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, it also features Vikram jit, Rajveer Singh, Shiyaji Shinde, Subhalekha Sudhakar and others.

Vaitla himself has penned the screenplay, and dialogues.  

The film will hit the screens on November 16.
