Is ‘Thala 56’ a story about Brother and Sister?

Ajith has just finished shooting for the first schedule of ‘Thala 56’ in which he is romancing Shruti Haasan and showering affection on Lakshmi Menon, who plays his sister in the film. Media speculation has led us to believe that the story is all about the brother and sister, but producer A.M. Rathnam has shed some light by divulging a little information.

According to Rathnam ‘Thala 56’ is an entirely new genre film and does not deal only with the brother and sister sentiments and has other surprising elements that will satisfy all sections of the audience. He said that Ajith, Shruti Haasan, Lakshmi Menon and Soori alongwith the other cast and crew will head to Kolkata for the second schedule as the City of Joy figures prominently in the story. Director Siruthai Siva and his team are said to be putting in huge efforts to bring the film for Diwali as a treat for all Thala fans.
