Allu Arjun thanks Mahesh Babu

Last night, Mahesh Babu lauded ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ in no uncertain terms. The ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ actor took to Twitter and described Allu Arjun’s performance as stunning, original, stellar, and sensational.

The Superstar went on to raise a toast to Sukumar’s directorial talent. “Sukumar proves again that his cinema is raw, rustic and brutally honest… a class apart,” Mahesh, who has previously worked with Suku on ‘1: Nenokkadine’, wrote. In the subsequent tweet, the ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ actor also praised music director Devi Sri Prasad and Mythri Movie Makers, the banner that is producing his upcoming movie, ‘SVP’.

Reacting to the tweets, Bunny said that he is glad that Mahesh liked his performance. “So glad you liked the performance, everyone’s work and the world of #Pushpa. Heart-warming compliment,” the Icon Star wrote, adding that he is humbled.

Sukumar had to do a film with Mahesh and Mythri Movie Makers. It was announced and called off. The director then picked up Bunny. It’s not true that the story of ‘Pushpa’ was to be done by Mahesh. It was a different story, as Sukumar recently confirmed.
