'Naandhi', which hit the screens last Friday, has entered the profit zone across all territories. The gritty crime-cum-courtroom drama, wherein Allari Naresh is an undertrial prisoner, is directed by debutant Vijay Kanakamedala. The male lead is extremely happy that he has scored his first box-office hit in eight years.
"For believing in me and ensuring that I will continue to believe in myself, I thank you all from the bottom-most part of my heart," Naresh said in a thankful tweet. He added, "ONLY you made this happen...You deserve the applause as much as me...So please take a bow with me."
The film's success meet was held on Tuesday and Dil Raju appreciated producer Satish Vegesna and others for coming up with a sensible film. "I know how it feels when you make a film that everyone is loving. The kick of making a meaningful film is something," the ace producer added.
Naresh recently said in an interview that he will be doing only content-oriented movies as against silly comedies from now. His January release, 'Bangaru Bullodu', was a failure.
