Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Red Flag’ Influence: Alia Bhatt’s Lipstick Choice Stirs Debate

Once again, Ranbir Kapoor is being dubbed a ‘red flag’ by netizens following a recent revelation made by his wife, Alia Bhatt, about their relationship dynamics. Alia shared a glimpse of her lipstick application routine in a new Vogue India video, where she discussed her preference for a faded and minimal look, citing her husband’s preference. 

Instead of directly applying lipstick, Alia demonstrated a unique method of moving her lips on the lipstick. She then lightly wiped off most of the lipstick, explaining that Ranbir prefers the natural color of her lips. This method, she noted, was influenced by his opinions when he was her boyfriend and now as her husband.

While Alia intended to share an endearing detail about their relationship, some online users reacted differently. Many considered Ranbir’s influence as a ‘red flag’, a term used for potential relationship warning signs. Comments expressed concern over Ranbir’s requests, with some stating they wouldn’t tolerate a partner who dictated their appearance. There was also commentary on Alia frequently mentioning her husband in interviews, suggesting a need to shift the focus to her acting career.

This isn’t the first time Alia and Ranbir have faced scrutiny for their statements. Previously, Alia mentioned that Ranbir dislikes her raising her voice during arguments. While they married in April of the previous year and welcomed daughter Raha, their public disclosures have sparked discussions on relationship dynamics.
