Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo: First such Telugu film to create unique record

'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo', which hit the screens on January 12, has crossed Rs 200 Cr (nett) and is only the sixth South Indian film to do so. It's also the first such film to pull off the incredible feat without a Hindi version.

At No. 1 is 'Bahubali-The Conclusion', whose Rs 1,115.86 Cr is phenomenal. At a distant No. 2 is 'Bahubali-The Beginning' with Rs 418.54 Cr. Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar's '2.0' is at Rs 413.30 Cr (this film would have been a big flop but for the Hindi audience, much like the next film in the list). Prabhas' 'Saaho' is at No. 4 with Rs 302.31 Cr. At No. 5 is Rajinikanth's 'Endhiran' with Rs 205.37 Cr.

The Allu Arjun-Trivikram Srinivas movie has crossed the Rs 200 Cr mark in 31 days. By earning Rs 173 Cr nett in the Telugu States, it is next only to 'Baahubali-2'.
