P Ravinder Reddy, a die-hard senior fan of the Akkinenis, today breathed his last in Hyderabad due to cancer. He was 58 and survived by wife and two children.
He had been a huge fan of ANR since the days of 'Premabhisekam'. ANR was fond of Reddy and invited him for the launch event of Nagarjuna's debut film 'Vikram'. It was then that Reddy was appointed as the President of Akkineni fans association.
Since then, Reddy conducted several philanthropic activities under the aegis of different fans associations of the Akkinenis.
Since he didn't want fans to pay a visit to him during his last days, Reddy moved to Hyderabad to stay with his sister, in whose residence he breathed his last today. "His death is an irreparable loss to all Akkineni fans," a statement from a fans association has said.
