‘Akhanda 2: Thaandavam’ Locks New Release Date

The much-awaited sequel Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, marking the fourth collaboration between God of Masses Nandamuri Balakrishna and blockbuster filmmaker Boyapati Sreenu, is in the final leg of post-production. Produced on a lavish scale by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner, and presented by M Tejaswini Nandamuri, the film has already set the internet ablaze with its electrifying teaser.

Riding on the massive buzz, the makers have now officially confirmed that Akhanda 2: Thaandavam will storm into theatres on December 5, 2025. Promising an even bigger and more intense cinematic experience, Boyapati has reportedly mounted this sequel on a grander scale, ensuring a larger-than-life narrative filled with spiritual action and adrenaline-charged drama.

The release date poster showcases Balakrishna in a fierce and divine avatar—sporting long hair, a rugged beard, sacred beads, and traditional jewelry. Dressed in saffron and earthy robes, he wields an intricately decorated trident against a snowy, vibrant backdrop. His commanding pose radiates both power and divinity, perfectly setting the tone for this spiritual action saga.

Adding to the excitement, S Thaman’s high-voltage background score is expected to amplify the intensity of the film’s sequences, promising the trademark adrenaline rush that fans eagerly anticipate.

The film stars Samyuktha as the female lead, while Aadhi Pinisetty takes on a pivotal role. Child artist Harshali Malhotra also plays an important character. The technical crew includes C. Ramprasad and Santoshh D Detakae handling cinematography, Tammiraju on editing, and AS Prakash as art director.
