Ajith Kumar has shot nonstop for several weeks at the Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad for his new biggie ‘AK 61’ directed by H. Vinoth. Grand sets of the Chennai Anna Salai were erected and the entire portions involving the location have been canned before the short schedule break.
Now it is learned that the ‘AK 61’ team will next move to Pune for the second major schedule of the action adventure thriller. After that there will be one final schedule in Chennai after which it will be a wrap. Producer Boney Kapoor has already stated that he is planning to bring the film as Diwali treat for fans this year.
‘AK 61’ has Manju Warrier as the female lead with Samuthirakani, John Kokken and Kavin in important roles. We already broke the news to you that Mahanadhi Shankar who first addressed Ajith as Thala in ‘Dheena’ is acting with him after a long time.
Now the latest additions to the cast of ‘AK 61’ are Bhagavathy Perumal and G. M. Sundar. Sources close to the team hint that there will be more exciting cast additions in the next two schedules.
