After three back-to-back successful films with Ajith, producer A.M.Ratnam is busy funding a Telugu film directed by his son Jothi Krishna of ‘Enakku 20 Unakku 18’ fame.
While a section of media reported that the maverick producer will be teaming up with Ajith for the fourth time for 'Thala 57' which would be directed by Siva, here we have an information that states otherwise.
Unconfirmed sources within Kollywood suggest that 'Thala 57' which will be Ajith's third film with Siva after the successful 'Veeram' and 'Vedalam' will be produced by Suresh Balaji who produced 'Billa 2' with the star. The source also claims that Suresh has met Ajith in this regard and the star has reportedly given his call sheet for the banner.
But we will have to wait for official confirmation.
Ajith is currently in sabbatical after undergoing a surgery and he can be expected to resume work only by Summer 2016.
