Ajith Kumar is not only one of the biggest South Indian superstars but also has achieved in other fields. To mention a few of his countless passions he has won national level medals for rifle shooting and international recognition for his bike and car racing. The charismatic hero is also an architect and builder of Unmanned Aerial Vechicles and his expertise was used by the IIT Chennai to mentor students there.
The Ajith mentored Daksha team won second place in the Australian Medical Express Challenge in 2019 and several other recognition in the olympics as well as the drones were used for disinfection during the coronavirus pandemic.
Now the Daksha team has reportedly been selected to manufacture drones on behalf of the Central Passenger Aviation Department under the “Make in India Project”. Chennai-based Zuppa Geo Navigation Technologies has also been selected to manufacture drone parts. A total of 5 companies from all over India have been selected for the production of drones and 9 companies for the production of drone spare parts.
Ajith fans are celebrating the news and making it trend high on social media. The man himself is busy shooting for ‘AK 61’ on grand sets of the Mount Road in Chennai erected at the Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad. The action adventure film is directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor.
