‘AK 57’ gets the National Award winning villain?

The mega project 'AK 57'directed by Siruthai Siva has begun shooting in Bulgaria with the lead pair Ajith and Kajal Agarwal. The film produced by Sathya Jyothi Films also has Karunakaran and Thambi Ramaiah in the cast.

For the powerful villain’s role the team had approached a few big names like Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swamy, Arjun and Prasanna but things did not seem to have worked out. The latest we hear is that Bobby Simha has signed on to play the villain and that an official announcement will come soon. It may be recalled that Bobby won the National Award for Best Supporting Actor for his antagonist role in ‘Jigarthanda’ and also impressed mightily in the recent ‘Metro’ in which he played an out and out negative character.
