Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth who were married for 18 long years and have two sons recently announced their separation shocking fans. Families on both the sides are reportedly trying to reunite couple.

Dhanush who has not spoken to the media since the issue has been busy shooting for his Telugu/Tamil bilingual 'Vaathi' and brother Selvaraghavan's 'Naane Varuven'. His 'Maaran' costarring Malavika Mohanan is set to stream on Disney Plus Hotstar on March 11th. Aishwaryaa meanwhile has completed her new multilingual music video 'Musafir' which is releasing on March 8th.

Aishwaryaa, on the occassion of her brother in law Selvaraghavan's birthday on March 5th posted a photo of herself hugging him and wrote "Happy birthday my guru, friend, father figure and I can go on..."

It is reported that the entire Selvaraghavan-Dhanush family was floored by Aishwaryaa's gesture considering the circumstances. Fans on social media see this as yet another chance for a reconciliation between the stars.
