After Prabhas, Dil Raju targets Kona Venkat-Sundeep Kishan, seizes Rowdy Baby title

Sundeep Kishan’s upcoming film Rowdy Baby, which brings him together with Neha Shetty, has a change in its title. The film has now been titled Gully Rowdy and the makers have already completed redesigning the first look poster and will be releasing it in a couple of days along with the new title.

Sources say it was producer Dil Raju who has convinced Kona Venkat, the producer of the Sundeep Kishan-starrer, to change the title as it bears remote closeness with his nephew Ashish Reddy’s debut film, Rowdy Boys.

Kona, on the other hand, felt that it would only be wiser to change the title to Gully Rowdy to avoid confusion with Rowdy Boys. However, this is not the first time that Dil Raju has got his hand’s on the title of a film as he had earlier seized Prabhas’s Jaan for Samantha Akkineni-starrer Jaanu.

Directed by G Nageswara Reddy, Gully Rowdy tells the story of an aspiring gangster, who falls head-over-heels in love with a pretty girl. The film was launched late last year in Visakhapatnam and the makers have already wrapped a schedule recently.

Meanwhile, Sundeep Kishan has delivered a hit with the sports drama, A1 Express, while Kona Venkat’s last release, Nishabdham, has turned out to be a damp squib.
