AIADMK Minister Dindigul C Sreenivasan has made news by calling Rahul Gandhi as the grandson of PM Narendra Modi, and this goof up has been trolled by netizens. With AIADMK cadre already upset with the announcement of allotment of Dindigul Lok Sabha constituency to PMK, this incident has further damaged the party members spirit.
ADMK Members meet was held at Dindigul yesterday, and the forest department minister of Tamil Nadu, Dindigul C Sreenivasan was present in the meeting. The meeting was essentially to campaign for the PMK candidate who had been fielded in the constituency, and ever since the start of the meeting, Srinivasan had been sleeping.
He was called to speak, and during his speech he spoke of how he had been receiving calls regarding allotment of Dindigul to PMK, and also said that had DMK contested elections without forming alliances, ADMK would also have thought of contesting elections without joining other parties. He also said this election will witness Narendra Modi contesting the election along with his grandson Rahul Gandhi. This statement of Sreenivasan where he called Rahul as Modi's grandson instead of Indra Gandhi's grandson has been subject to trolls in social media.
