Adivi Sesh’s ‘Major’: First Look drops

After box-office hits such as ‘Kshanam’, ‘Goodachari’ and ‘Evaru’, Adivi Sesh is now shooting for ‘Major’. Telling the story of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, a 26/11 martyr, the film is helmed by Sashikiran Tikka of ‘Evaru’ fame. Releasing its first look on Wednesday, the makers said that ‘Major’ is inspired by the life of India’s son. 

Mahesh Babu, who is associated with the Summer 2021 Telugu-Hindi flick as one of the producers, tweeted, “Happy to present the first look of #Major!! Wishing you a very happy birthday @AdiviSesh. I’m sure Major will go down as one of your best performances. Good luck and happiness always!” 

The film is not just about the Mumbai terrorist attacks but about the life of Sandeep Unnikrishnan. 

Featuring also ‘Goodachari’ fame Sobhita Dhulipala, versatile actor Prakash Raj, yesteryear actress Revathi and ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ actor Murali Sharma, Saiee Manjrekar and others, about three-fourths of its shoot is over. It will hit the screens in April or May next year. 

Cinematography and music are by Vamsi Patchipulusu and Sricharan Pakala, respectively.
