'Adirindhi', the dubbed version of the Tamil film 'Mersal', is most likely to hit the screens on Oct 26 or 27. The film is yet to get its Censor certification, the reason why its release was called off on Oct 18. Directed by Atlee, the film's Tamil version opened to humongous collections in Tamil Nadu, US and other markets.
The news is that 'Adirindhi' is expected to hit the screens in as many as 400 screens in the Telugu States.
Penned by K Vijayendra Prasad, its story is said to be inspired by Kamal Haasan-starrer 'Vichithra Sodarulu'. Vijay is the hero, while Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Nithya Menon are the heroines.
Music-directed by AR Rahman, it has the cinematography by GK Vishnu. SJ Suryah will be seen in a key role after 'SPYder'. Sharrath Marar, who has teamed up with Thendral Films, is bringing the Telugu version.
