Director Om Raut, who is wielding the megaphone for 'Adipurush', has said that roping in Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan was a dream combo as far as he is concerned. The 'Tanhaji' maker is quite happy to have pulled off the casting coup.
In his latest interview, Raut said that about 30% of the shoot of the mythological 3D drama is over already. The film went on the floors in early February. It seems extensive pre-production works facilitated the pace in Mumbai. The shoot has been halted temporarily due to the lockdown in Maharashtra.
Usually, Prabhas' big-ticket bonanzas take too much time to take off and complete. 'Adipurush', owing to the efficient Bollywood culture, is well on its track. The film will release in August 2022, leaving no room for speculative articles by Tollywood media.
Starring Kriti Sanon as Sita, the film involves a lot of motion-capture technology. Prabhas, the 'Radhe Shyam' actor, is playing Lord Rama. The VFX-heavy movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series, besides Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles.
