Actress Vanitha Vijayakumar who made her acting debut opposite Thalapathy Vijay in 'Chandralekha' the featured as a heroine in a few films including 'Manickam' and 'Kaakai Siraginile'. She then got married and took a long break from the entertainment industry.

Vanitha came back to the limelight by participating in the 'Bigg Boss 3' reality show hosted by Kamal Haasan and also the 'Cooku With Comali' season one and 'Kalakkapovadhu Yaaru' season nine.

Vanitha is now also busy with film projects and the latest one she has signed is 'Andhagan' which marks the comeback of popular nineties hero Prashanth in the lead. The film a remake of the Hindi film 'Andhadhun' has Karthik, Simran, Yogi Babu, Oorvashi and K.S. Ravikumar in other important characters.

Prashanth's dad Thiargarajan is directing 'Andhagan' which went on floors a few days back and is progressing fast.
