Trisha signs new female centric film – DEETS

Evergreen actress Trisha after the super hit success of ’96’ costarring Vijay Sethupathi has made a strong comeback in Tamil cinema.  Recently she starred in two blockbuster hits ‘Ponniyin Selvan 1’ and ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ and her female centric film ‘Raangi’ was also well received.

To top it all Trish is currently acting as the female lead opposite Thalapathy Vijay after fourteen years in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Leo’.  A surprising trivia is that the gangster flick is the 67th film in the careers of both Vijay and Trisha.  Now the information about Trisha’s 68th film has come and it is an interesting one.

According to the buzz Gaurav Narayanan will direct Trisha’s 68th and it will be a female oriented subject.  The director is famous for his films ‘Thoonga Nagaram’, ‘Sigaram Thodu’, and ‘Araadhu Sinam’ apart from acting in ‘Ippadai Vellum’, ‘FIR’ and the upcoming ‘Kortavai’ and ‘Pizza 3’.

It is said that the Trisha- Gaurav Narayanan movie is going to be a multi-starrer with Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam actors in the cast. The official announcement will be out in a few days.  Trisha’s next release is ‘The Road’ directed by Arun Vaseegaran and costarring Santhosh Prathap, Miya George, M. S. Bhaskar, Vela Ramamoorthy
