Popular Tamil television actress Shamili Sukumar is currently famous for playing the villainous character of Priya in the serial 'Roja'. She recently quit the show after becoming pregnant with her first child with husband Rajkumar.

Shamili has announced on Instagram that she has given birth to a baby girl and wrote "The wait is finally over! We’re thrilled to welcome my princess". She also shared a pic of the cute little hands of her bundle of joy. Her colleagues from the television industry are showering wishes to her on her Insta handle.

Shamili Sukumar made her acting debut with the serial ' Thendral' and is known for a variety of characters in 'Vani Rani' (as Tejaswini / Teju), 'Romapuri Pandian' (Princess Kalaivani), 'Pasamalar' (Mallika), 'Ponnunjal' (Revathi), 'Valli' (Shamili) and 'Mappillai' (Shalu).
