Famous young actress injured on sets, rushed to hospital

Actress Samyuktha Hegde a leading heroine in Kannada cinema has impressed with her Tamil films as well such as ‘Comali’, ‘Puppy’, ‘Thael’ and most recently stole the show in Venkat Prabhu’s ‘Manmadha Leelai’.

Samyuktha is playing the lead role in the Kannada film ‘Kreem’ and was shooting for an action sequence in Bengaluru on Thursday.  She got injured suddenly and was rushed to a nearby hospital.  Abhishek Basanth the director of the film shared to the media “Our team asked her to use ropes or a stunt double for the suggestion shots to make sure that she is safe. Being a martial arts practitioner she nailed the entire sequence but right before the final shot, she got slipped and injured.”

Contrary to reports the team also clarified that there was no blood loss and the stains on her dress were part of the makeup for the action sequence.  Later Samyuktha shared on her Insta stories that she has torn her ankle posting pics of her leg in a cast.
