Ritika Singh is one of the few actresses who hit a sixer in her very first film ‘Irudhi Suttru’ directed by Sudha Kongara playing a firebrand boxer. She has since been lauded for almost all her films in Tamil including ‘Aandavan Kattalai’ with Vijay Sethupathi and the recent ‘Oh My Kadavule’ opposite Ashok Selvan.
During this pandemic lockdown period, Ritika has been quite active on social media posting her workout videos as well as a few funny ones. Her latest video however serves as a strong reply to social media trolls regarding the pimples on her face.
Ritika has questioned in a part of the video “Do you think we don’t know that we have pimples? Do you think we can’t see the blemishes on our faces? Of course, we can. But still, we choose to ignore them and we choose to be our real selves on social media. And I think that is applause-worthy. Some of the comments are really hurtful”
Ritika has further added that she is comfortable posing without any makeup and in her natural atmosphere and doesn’t care about the comments. She has also made her face hideous through apps to give a piece of her mind in Hindi as well which is a good mix of a strong message delivered with some humour as well.
