Charismatic stars Sivakarthikeyan and Rashmika Mandanna teaming up?

Sivakarthikeyan and Rashmika Mandanna are two of the most charismatic stars in South Indian cinema with both enjoying a large fan following especially among the youth.  The duo were supposed to star in a film together ‘SK17’ a couple of years back that was to be directed by Vignesh Shivan and produced by Lyca Productions which unfortunately was shelved.

Now it looks like the family friendly hero and the national crush heroine are finally uniting for a new movie that will go on floors by the end of this year.  The film in question is the one that will mark the Telugu debut of Sivakarthikeyan and will be directed by ‘Jathi Rathnalu’ fame Anudeep.  The official confirmation is awaited.

Sivakarthikeyan’s next release is ‘Doctor’ directed by Nelson Dilipkumar while he is currently shooting for ‘Don’ directed by debtante Cibi Chakravarthy.  Rashmika on the other hand has shifted to Mumbai to complete two films ‘Mission Majnu’ and ‘Goodbye’ and she also has the pan Indian film ‘Pushpa’ costarring Allu Arjun under her belt.
