Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar who started her career as a newsreader got a chance to play the female lead in the television serial 'Kadhal Mudhal Kalyanam Varai' on Vijay TV. She became so popular that she bagged the heroine's role in Karthik Subbaraj's 'Meyadha Maan' directed by Rathna Kumar.

There was no looking back for the young actress and currently she has the most number of films under her belt in Tamil. On the professional front PBS has been going strong for more than a decade with her boyfriend Rajavel and the couple often share photos on social media of their loveable moments.

Priya Bhavani Shankar in a recent interview has said that she planned to get married and settle soon after she finished college. But then she got movie chances and now she has the ambition of achieving big in the industry. The well read actress has revealed that her busy schedules are further delaying her marriage.
