Nayanthara to be questioned by TN govt regarding childbirth controversy

Top actress Nayanthara and her long time lover Vignesh Shivan got married on June 9th this year.  Four months later on October 9th Vignesh Shivan announced that the couple have been blessed with twins with twins.

He wrote on Twitter sharing photos of himself and his wife kissing the feet of their children “”Nayan & Me have become Amma & Appa…We are blessed with twin baby Boys…All Our prayers,our ancestors’ blessings combined wit all the good manifestations made, have come 2gethr in the form Of 2 blessed babies for us Need all ur blessings for our Uyir & Ulagam”.

At a government meeting today Health Minister M. Subramaniyam was questioned the legality of Nayanthara’s childbirth after reports emerged that she used the surrogacy method.  The minister stated that an inquiry will be made to the Lady Superstar to ascertain if she used the proper guidelines to give birth through a surrogacy mother.

He also added that there are around 90 guidelines and most important was that the surrogate who donated the eggs should be a woman of 21 to 36 years old and it is mandatory for her to be married.  The husband of the woman should also give his consent before the process begins.

Already fans were shocked when Vignesh Shivan announced the childbirth just four months after his wedding to Nayanthara.  Now since an issue has been created regarding the surrogacy it is more or less confirmed that the celebrities used the method.  The clarification from the Nayan-Vicky side is awaited.
