The year 2020 has already disrupted the normal functioning of the entire world and while the other fields of business are slowly getting back to their feets the film industry is still stuck with many without jobs and livelihood lost. Add to that there has been a number of shocking deaths in the industry that has jolted everyone concerned.

27 year old actress Mishit Mukherjee has passed away in Bengaluru where she was under treatment for kidney failure. The official statement from her representative reads "Actress Mishti Mukherjee who marked her brilliance in many films and music videos with her ace acting is no more. Due to keto diet, her kidney failed in Bangalore and she breathed her last on Friday night, the actress suffered a lot of pain. Unforgettable and unfortunate loss. May her soul rest in peace. She is survived by her parents and brother,"

Mishti Mukherjee made her acting debut in the Hindi film 'Life Ki Toh lag Gayi' in 2012 and has since featured in a few Bengali and Telugu movies as well. Her death has served as a warning to all those youngsters who follow new diets to reduce their weight without proper medical supervision. Her last rites were held on Saturday.

The Keto diet comprises of feeding the body 75 percent fat, 20 percent protein and 5 percent carbohydrates and while this seems to work for some others need to be careful before changing usual diets and should consult the doctors before starting one.
