Record-breaking Rajini heroine confirmed for ‘Thalaivar 168’

Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Darbar’ is in hectic postproduction mode to enthrall millions of fans worldwide from Pongal 2020.  The film directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Lyca Productions has music by Anirudh and Nayanthara, Suniel Shetty, Yogi Babu and Nivetha Thomas are the principle cast members.

Rajini is all set to start shooting for his next tentatively titled ‘Thalaivar 168’ directed by Siruthai Siva with music by D.Imman.  So far the producers Sun Pictures has confirmed that Soori is playing an important role and reliable sources add that Keerthy Suresh could be on board for a pivotal lead role.

There have been reports that Khushbu and Meena are also considered for another female lead and we brought you the story much earlier.  Now we have the info that Meena has been finalized and has signed on the dotted line.   Meena is the only actress who has played a lead role as child artiste opposite the Superstar in ‘Anbulla Rajinikanth’ and as an adult has paired with him in ‘Yejamaan’, ‘Veera’ and ‘Muthu’ all of which have been record-breaking blockbuster hits.   She has also played the female lead opposite Pasupathi in ‘Kuselan’ in which Rajini acted in a guest role. The rest of the cast details is expected in a few day’s time when the film goes on floors.
