Actress Malavika Avinash after acting in several Kannada movies made a strong debut in Tamil in a supporting role in Madhavan's 'Jay Jay' directed by Saran in 2003. Since then she has been a part of many films and serials in Kollywood and is known for her impeccable acting skills.

Malavika's national fame came after playing a very pivotal role in the 2018 pan Indian blockbuster movie 'KGF' directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Yash and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles.

Meanwhile family photos of Malavika have gone viral on the internet and fans have been surprised to see that her husband Avinash is actually a famous villain actor in South Indian cinema. To Tamil audiences Avinash's most memorable role is in Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Chandramukhi' in which he played a godman who tries to exorcise the assumed ghosh haunting Jyothika.

Avinash and Malavika met when working together in the serial 'Mayamruga' fell in love and got married in 2001. They have a son Gaalav. Malavika is also very close to her niece whom she considers her daughter.

Malavika Avinash is reprising her role as Deepa Hegde the chief editor of a television channel in the upcoming 'KGF : Chapter 2' directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Yash. The film hits the screens worldwide in multiple languages on April 14th 2022.
