Actress Jyothi Reddy aged 26 died tragically at a railwaystation and her parents and relatives have demanded an enquiry on her death suspecting if someone pushed her to her death.
According to police reports Jyothi Reddy was working as a junior actress in Telugu cinema and had visited her village Chitvel in Kadappa to celebrate Sankranthi with her family. On Monday night she had boarded a train to Hyderabad from Kadappa and it was at the Shadnagar station that she died.
It is said that at around 5.30 am the train stopped at Shadnagar and Jyothi was half asleep thinking that she had reached Kachiguda station had got off her coach. Then realizing that she had gotten down at the wrong station she had tried to board the train which was already moving and had fallen down and was severely injured in the head, hips and legs. Witnesses say the actress was lying in a pool of blood.
The Telugu junior artistes association has expressed condolences over the passing away of Jyothi Reddy who has danced in the recently released ‘Pushpa’ starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna and has also acted in a few other films.
