Genelia to make a comeback in a mega project?

Ever since Genelia made her debut in Shankar’s ‘Boys’ she became the dream girl of the Tamil and South Indian audiences.  Her style of portrayal of the bubbly girl next door characters in ‘Sachien’, ‘Santhosh Subramaniam’ and  ‘Uyarndha Manithan’ are still celebrated by her hardcore fans.

Genelia married Bollywood hero Riteish Deshmukh in 2012 and quit movies to concentrate on raising her two children.  Now comes the hot news that Genelia has been approached to play the female lead in ‘Chiru 156’ starring Megastar Chiranjeevi.

‘Chiru 156’ is the remake of the Malayalam blockbuster ‘Lucifer’ in which Chiranjeevi is reprising the role played by Mohan Lal.  Genelia has been approached for the weighty role played by Manju Warrier in the original and sources say that she is on the verge of giving her nod.  We have to wait for official confirmation though.
