Exclusive! Anikha Surendran opens up about lip lock controversy

Young actress Anikha Surendran is famous for playing superstar Ajith Kumar’s daughter not in one movie but two ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ and ‘Viswasam’.  She is now a little over 18 years old and is already playing the heroine in ‘Oh My Darling’.  The trailer of this film was recently released and went viral.

Fans were pleasantly shocked to see that the ‘Oh My Darling’ trailer contained several lip locks and intimate scenes between Anikha and Melvin G. Babu.  The bubbly actress in an exclusive interview to us has explained about why she chose to do such scenes at such a young age and what the challenges were.

Anikha stated that ‘Oh My Darling’ is a full-length romantic film, in which kissing scenes cannot be avoided and the director had also mentioned the importance of the intimate scenes while narrating the script to her.  She added that she did the scenes only because the story required it, but at the same time promised that there will be no obscenity and audience will realise it when they watch the film.  There is more from Anikha in our exclusive interview below.
