A 24 year-old actress was found dead hanging in her rented house and police suspect suicide and have started an investigation. The said actress Alexandra Djavi a Russian national has acted in Raghava Lawrence's 'Kanchana 3'. Locals in the North Goan village where she was staying have stated to the police that her boyfriend had walked out on her a few days back and she was in depression.

Earlier in 2019 Djavi lodged a police complaint against a Chennai photographer for alleged sexual harassment and he was arrested. The relatives of the actress and model have been informed and other formalities are looked into by the Russian consulate.

Police sources have stated inquiries would also be made to ascertain whether someone could have murdered the girl and made it look like suicide. The Chennai man who was accused of blackmailing her would also be interrogated.
