Legendary actor Sathyaraj has reportedly been hospitalized after testing positive for COVID 19. He is said to be under treatment at a private hospital in Aminjikkarai in Chennai. The official statement from the medical team regarding his exact condition is awaited.

In the past few days several celebrities from the film industry including Mahesh Babu and Thaman shared that they have tested positive for the coronavirus. Earlier this evening top actress Trisha also revealed that she had a harrowing couple of weeks after contracting the coronavirus.

In Trisha's case in spite of the fact that she had got fully vaccinated she got affected. The signs are clear that the third wave of the deadly virus is rampant in India and utmost care should be taken by masking up, practicing social distancing and hygiene and vaccination.
