Sivakumar's elder son Suriya in this generation is following in his father's footsteps and is taking care of the educations of the downtrodden in a big way through his Agaram Foundation.
Karthi the younger son of Sivakumar is heading his own Uzhavan Foundation that is aiming to help farmers and his latest achievement is highly laudable. Karthi through his organization has alloted rupees four lakhs to clean up the Sooravalli canal in Radhapuram, Tirunelveli district. The project commenced 21 days back and is expected to be completed soon.
The Sooravalli canal will be used to irrigate ten thousand acres of farmland and will benefit the livelihood of ten villages. This huge gesture by Karthi is being lauded by the people of the area and true to his words the top star is sure doing big things for farming.
On the professional front Karthi will soon resume shooting of Mani Ratnam's mega multistarrer 'Ponniyin Selvan' and also complete a small remaining portion of 'Sultan' in which he is romancing Rashmika Mandanna. He is next set to star in films by P.S. Mithran and Muthaiah.
