Actor Jagan reveals Suriya’s role in his love marriage

Popular comedian Jagan and his wife Vaanmathi were with us for an exclusive fun interview in which he revealed some interesting aspects about his private life and especially his love marriage.

According to Jagan, Vaanmathi’s parents were not in favour of him and when he decided to elope, he shared his decision to his ‘Ayan’ costar Suriya.  However Suriya adviced him against a marriage that will make the parents unhappy and suggested that he convince the girl’s parents citing how he himself did  that when he married Jyothika.

Sivakumar, after a request from Suriya then had apparently visited Vaanmathi’s house and convinced her parents to accept Jagan as their son-in-law.  In the eventual wedding too Sivakumar and his wife stood in place of Jagan’s parents and blessed the couple.  Jagan has shared more interesting details including his experience working with Kamal Haasan in ‘Thoongavanam’ and Vishal’s courage in entering politics in the below video.
