The weekend episode of Bigg Boss Tamil ended with the eviction of Abishek Raja. Abhishek who priorities his self-respect chose to get evicted in spite of his friend offering him the coin to get saved.
Isaivani and Thamarai Selvi were saved first which was followed by Priyanka Deshpande, Abhinay Vaddi and Iykki Berry. This left Abishek Raaja and Chinnaponnu as the last two standing. Last week, those who won the coins were told that they could play for others. Pavni, Niroop and others said that they were ready to play the coin for him so they could save him from elimination. But, Bigg Boss revealed that this was not the time to use the coin.
Abishek Raaja requested contestants not to use the coin and said, “Don’t use the coin for me. I have self-respect and morale. I don’t depend on the coin. If you do, my confidence will be shaken. The audience has decided that they don’t like me. So, it should be respected.”
After his eviction from the Bigg Boss house, Abishek released a statement after two days. He took to his Instagram and wrote, “Bigg boss is a game and I played according to the rules of engagement. I was able to instigate a competitive spirit among the peers during tasks only because I developed an equation with each and every housemate. I put my longevity with the show at stake but I walked away with a satisfaction of staying real. If staying real is my ultimate testament, then that’s how I run my show and my life too (sic).”
