Breaking! 8 new coronavirus cases reported in Tamil Nadu numbers go up in India

It has been officially confirmed by health minister C. Vijayabhaskar that 8 new persons have tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Tamil Nadu. Among them all belonging to Erode, four are from the same family and they came in contact with the Thai nationals who are under treatment at the IRT Perundurai. The new patients have also been isolated and are being treated.
With this count the total number of persons infected by COVID 19 in Tamil Nadu goes up to 50 out of which 4 have been discharged and two persons have died. At the time of this writing the total affected in India stands at 987 with 25 having lost their lives.
The Indian government has locked down the country for 21 days till April 14th in an effort to control the spread of the coronavirus. The citizens have been adviced to stay at home, practice social distancing and hygiene by washing hands, often touched spaces with soap and water thorougly for half a minute and more.
