In what appears to be a bizarre case, a forty year old woman from Jaipur has been staging protest at Jantar Mantar wanting to marry Narendra Modi, the country’s Prime Minister.
Shanti Sharma who is in a sit-in for a month since September 8 has stated that she wants to help the PM as he is alone and has a lot of work to do. Shanti also has a twenty year old daughter from her previous relationship which didnt progress favourably.
Shanti who has remained alone for the past several years have ignored several marriage proposals as well. Also clarifying that her mental state is fine, vouches that she will not move away from the place till she gets to meet the Prime Minister.
Saying that she is financially secure with land and money, Shanti professes her worry over the National Green tribunal’s order to shift her place of protest.
